Data Carrier Destruction

Shredders are available for the destruction of various data carriers such as paper, optical media (CD, DVD, Blu-Ray), magnetic data carriers (tapes, payment cards) and small electronic data carriers (memory card, mobile phones)

A shredder grinds the data carrier in small fragments so that the information present is permanently destroyed. The DIN 66399 / ISO 21964 standard determines the safety level of a Shredder on the basis of the fragment size of the fragments. There are 7 safety levels for 6 different material groups.
