The Depei CH-M200 HC is a professional shredder for destroying hard disk drives. The CH-M200 HC is movable so that it can be used in any office environment. In addition to destroying hard drives, the CH-M200 HC is also suitable for shredding optical discs (CD, DVD, Blu-Ray), tapes and mobile phones.

The high-quality blades of the Depei CH-M200 HC shred data carriers, including hard disks, to parts smaller than 2000 mm². The Depei CH-M200 HC complies with DIN 66399 / ISO 21964 O-1, T-1, E-3 and H-4 security levels. The CH-M200 HC shredder has a capacity of maximum 230 hard disk drives per hour.

For the effective destruction of information on hard disks, a hard disk must first be erased in a degausser. The magnetic information on the hard disk platters is completely removed with a strong electromagnetic pulse. The CH-M200 HC can then be used for the second phase; physical destruction of the hard drive.

The Depei CH-M200 HC is easily operated via a user-friendly control panel. The material to be destroyed is fed into the opening at the top of the CH-M200 HC. The CH-M200 HC is equipped with a hard disk input safety button, automatic reverse and cut-off functions for preventing blockages, a full output storage sensor, input door open/close sensor and dustproof housing.

The shredded material is collected in a plastic container on the inside of the CH-M200 HC. This container can easily be removed by opening the door at the front of the shredder.
