The Garner Products SSC-25SSD-e SpaceSaver is a compact all-in-one solution for destroying hard drives and SSD's. The SpaceSaver consists of the HD-2XTSSe degausser, the PD-5e crusher, the SSD-1e module and the IRONCLAD Erasure Verification system.

With the HD-2XTSSe degausser, hard disk drives can be erased quickly and safely. The system operates very simply; a hard disk is placed in the front tray of the degausser. After it is closed, the HD-2XTSSe will automatically charge up and then send a short, powerful electromagnetic pulse of 10,000 Gauss through the hard drive. This discharge (Capacitive Discharge) is powerful enough to erase hard disks of 2 TB and larger.

The Garner PD-5e hard drive Destroyer is a mechanical crusher for hard drives and SSD's. The PD-5e is listed on the NSA Evaluated Products List. After a hard disk has been erased with the HD-2XTSSe degausser, the PD-5e can be used to crack the hard drive with a metal wedge in which the data platters, housing, reading heads and electronics are bent and broken. With the included SSD-1e module, the PD-5e can also be used for destroying SSD's. The SSD-1 module perforates the SSD with 90 pins, thus damaging all memory chips in the SSD. The SSD-1e module can be stored in the SSD-Caddy which is part of the SSC-25SSD-e SpaceSaver system.

The unique Garner IRONCLAD system consists of an automatic camera module, a touchscreen control panel, a barcode scanner and the Garner Erasure Report software. Information from each hard disk drive such as serial number, date/time and user ID is recorded via the software and barcode scanner before erasure. After degaussing, the external camera module takes a picture of the top of the ejected hard drive. The photo of each degauss cycle is recorded together with the degauss result and the other information entered in the IRONCLAD log for auditing or reporting purposes.
