The SDD Master has been specially developed for users who need maximum security when destroying information on hard disk drive and tape. The SDD Master uses a very strong magnetic field (at least 20,000 gauss) for the complete erasure of hard disks. The automatic erase procedure is processor controlled, ensuring effective operation. The SDD Master comes standard with a special data log function. With the supplied Data Destruction Auditor software and barcode scanner, comprehensive information about each degauss cycle can be stored for auditing or reporting purposes. For this the SDD Master degausser must be connected to a PC via a USB cable. The optional DD Imager module is the perfect solution for complete media destruction auditing. Capture high quality images from each hard drive to accompany detailed erasure records, ensuring the utmost security and compliance for your data disposal needs. The DD Imager effortlessly integrates with the Data Destruction Auditor software and adds invaluable visual proof to your erasure records. The DD Imager not only capture these crucial images but also incorporates them into erasure certificates. This feature ensures that every step of the media destruction process is meticulously documented. Hard disk drives or tapes are placed in the input tray and the plastic cap is closed. With the press of the start button, the media is automatically fed into the SDD Master degausser and exposed to a very powerful electromagnetic discharge a total of three times. The media is automatically rotated between the discharges. This process is continuously monitored by the SDD Master processor. The whole erase process takes only 75 seconds. The VS Security products SDD Master has a continuous duty cycle and can process an average of 40 hard disks or tapes per hour. Specifications
